Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 13, 2026

1. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE

MarketMutt respects the privacy of individuals who visit our website, register for accounts, purchase subscriptions, or use our market research and artificial intelligence services. This Privacy Policy explains how MarketMutt (“MarketMutt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, processes, and discloses personal information in connection with its website, applications, research tools, subscription services, and related features (collectively, the “Service”). This Policy applies to information collected directly through MarketMutt and through authorized service providers acting on our behalf. By using the Service, you acknowledge the information practices described in this Policy. Where applicable law requires consent for particular processing activities, we will seek that consent separately. This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Cookie Policy, Subscription & Cancellation Policy, and other applicable disclosures.

2. CATEGORIES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Depending on how you interact with MarketMutt, we may collect the following categories of information: • Personal identifiers, including names, email addresses, account identifiers, and contact information. • Account information, including registration details, authentication information, account status, and subscription level. • Subscription and transaction records, including payment status, billing history, plan changes, and transaction identifiers. • Technical information, including IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, device information, and diagnostic records. • Website usage information, including pages visited, feature interactions, preferences, and service activity. • User-submitted information, including watchlists, research questions, support requests, and feedback. • Communications information, including messages sent to customer support and preferences for receiving notifications. Not every category is collected from every user. We seek to limit collection to information reasonably necessary for legitimate business operations and disclosed purposes.

3. INFORMATION PROVIDED DIRECTLY BY USERS

We collect information that users voluntarily provide when registering for an account, updating account settings, purchasing a subscription, submitting questions, or contacting customer support. Such information may include names, email addresses, account preferences, research questions, and communications. Information may also be collected when users participate in optional promotions, surveys, or other activities that MarketMutt may offer. Providing certain information is voluntary. However, withholding information necessary for account authentication, billing, or requested functionality may prevent access to those services. Users are responsible for ensuring that information they submit is accurate and that they have the right to provide it.

4. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND AUTHENTICATION

MarketMutt may collect and maintain information necessary to create, authenticate, secure, and administer user accounts. This may include account identifiers, email addresses, authentication credentials or securely processed authentication information, account creation dates, session records, and account status. Authentication technologies may include cookies, secure tokens, password verification systems, and other appropriate security mechanisms. We may use account information to prevent unauthorized access, investigate suspicious activity, restore account access, and maintain the integrity of the Service. Users should protect their login credentials and notify MarketMutt if they suspect unauthorized account activity.

5. AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED TECHNICAL INFORMATION

When users access MarketMutt, certain technical information may be collected automatically by our systems or authorized service providers. This information may include: • Internet Protocol addresses. • Browser type and version. • Device type and operating system. • Date and time of access. • Pages requested and technical request information. • Error messages and diagnostic information. • Approximate geographic location derived from network information. • Information necessary to maintain security and website performance. This information may be used for troubleshooting, fraud prevention, system administration, service reliability, and security monitoring. Technical information may constitute personal information under applicable privacy laws, particularly when it can reasonably be associated with an identifiable individual.

6. WATCHLISTS AND USER PREFERENCES

MarketMutt may allow users to create stock watchlists, organize research groups, save preferences, and customize aspects of the Service. Depending on the feature, this information may be stored in browser storage, MarketMutt account systems, or both. Saved information may include ticker symbols, company names, watchlist categories, research preferences, appearance settings, and other user-selected configurations. We use this information to provide requested functionality, maintain account preferences, and support continuity between sessions where available. Deleting browser data may remove information stored locally on a device. Account-based information may remain in our systems until deleted or otherwise handled under applicable retention practices.

7. ASK ROXIE AI AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PROCESSING

MarketMutt uses artificial intelligence technologies to generate educational explanations, research summaries, and responses to user questions. When a user submits a question through Ask Roxie AI, MarketMutt may process: • The submitted question. • The stock symbol or company associated with the question. • Relevant market data and news context. • Applicable Roxie Ratings or analytical information. • Information needed to manage feature access, usage limits, and service security. Information necessary to generate a response may be transmitted to an authorized third-party AI service provider. The AI provider may process the information according to its contractual obligations and applicable service terms. MarketMutt does not intend Ask Roxie AI to be used for processing highly sensitive personal information. Users should not submit passwords, payment-card numbers, brokerage account credentials, government identification numbers, confidential financial records, or other sensitive personal information through Ask Roxie AI. AI responses may be generated through automated systems without individual human review. The extent to which AI submissions are logged, retained, reviewed, or used by third-party providers must be disclosed consistently with the actual services and contractual arrangements in effect.

8. AI DATA RETENTION AND MODEL IMPROVEMENT

MarketMutt may retain certain AI-related records for purposes such as maintaining service functionality, managing usage allowances, troubleshooting errors, preventing abuse, and improving response quality. Third-party AI providers may maintain separate processing or retention practices under their applicable agreements. MarketMutt will describe material uses of submitted information, including any use for model training or improvement, in accordance with applicable law and its actual provider arrangements. We will not represent that AI submissions are never retained or never used for training unless those claims have been verified against the relevant technical settings and contractual terms. Users should avoid including confidential or unnecessary personal information in AI questions.

9. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENT INFORMATION

MarketMutt may offer free and paid subscription plans. Subscription purchases and recurring payments are processed through authorized payment service providers, including Stripe where implemented. Payment processors may collect payment-card details, billing addresses, transaction information, and other information necessary to authorize and process payments. MarketMutt may receive limited payment-related information, including customer identifiers, subscription status, billing dates, payment outcomes, transaction references, and plan information. MarketMutt does not require access to complete payment-card numbers to administer subscriptions. Payment information handled directly by a payment processor is also subject to that provider's privacy practices and contractual obligations. MarketMutt may retain appropriate transaction records for accounting, subscription management, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.

10. PURPOSES FOR WHICH INFORMATION IS USED

MarketMutt may use personal information for the following purposes: • Creating, authenticating, and maintaining user accounts. • Providing market research tools and personalized website functionality. • Processing subscription purchases, renewals, cancellations, and account changes. • Delivering Ask Roxie AI responses and other requested features. • Maintaining watchlists and user preferences. • Providing customer support. • Detecting fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity. • Diagnosing technical problems and improving service reliability. • Measuring website performance and understanding feature usage. • Communicating material account, billing, security, or policy information. • Complying with applicable laws and lawful requests. • Establishing, exercising, or defending legal rights. We may use aggregated or appropriately de-identified information to evaluate overall service performance and improve MarketMutt, subject to applicable law. Personal information will not be used for materially incompatible purposes without appropriate notice or other legal authorization.

11. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING

Where applicable privacy laws require identification of a legal basis for processing personal information, MarketMutt will rely on an appropriate basis for the specific processing activity. Depending on the circumstances, this may include: • Performance of a contract or steps requested before entering into a contract. • Compliance with legal obligations. • Legitimate business interests that are not overridden by applicable individual rights. • Consent where required by law. • Other lawful grounds recognized in the applicable jurisdiction. Different processing activities may rely on different legal bases. Where processing depends on consent, users may withdraw that consent through available procedures, subject to applicable legal limitations. The legal bases actually applicable to MarketMutt's operations and international visitors must be confirmed before this provision is finalized.

12. DISCLOSURE TO THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

MarketMutt may disclose information to service providers that perform functions necessary to operate the Service. These providers may include: • Website hosting and infrastructure providers. • Database and account management services. • Authentication and security services. • Payment processors. • Artificial intelligence technology providers. • Market data and financial news providers, where necessary. • Email and customer communication services. • Technical support, monitoring, and diagnostic services. • Professional advisers and other authorized business service providers. Information shared with a provider should be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant service. Providers may have separate contractual obligations and privacy practices. MarketMutt does not assume that every service provider follows identical data processing or retention procedures.

13. SALE AND SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

MarketMutt does not currently intend to sell customer personal information to data brokers or advertisers. MarketMutt may disclose information to authorized service providers for legitimate operational purposes, including payment processing, hosting, account management, security, and AI functionality. Certain privacy laws define the terms “sale” and “sharing” broadly, potentially including particular advertising or tracking arrangements even when no money is exchanged. Before implementing advertising pixels, cross-context behavioral advertising, or other technologies that may qualify as a sale or sharing of personal information under applicable law, MarketMutt will evaluate the required disclosures and consumer choices. Any definitive representation concerning whether personal information is sold or shared must reflect actual website tracking, vendor contracts, and data flows.

14. COOKIES AND BROWSER STORAGE

MarketMutt uses cookies and similar browser technologies for account functionality, security, and user preferences. These technologies may include authentication cookies and local browser storage. Browser storage may be used to remember appearance settings, saved watchlists, or other preferences. Cookies and local storage operate differently and may have different retention and access characteristics. Users can generally manage browser cookies and locally stored information through their browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may interfere with authentication or other website functionality. Additional information is available in MarketMutt's separate Cookie Policy.

15. ANALYTICS, ADVERTISING, AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

MarketMutt may use technical logs and service performance information to maintain and improve website functionality. If analytics services, advertising pixels, or other optional tracking technologies are introduced, the associated information collection and processing practices will be disclosed as required by applicable law. Where legally required, MarketMutt will provide appropriate consent mechanisms, opt-out choices, or other privacy controls. We will not identify particular analytics or advertising services as active unless their implementation has been verified. Tracking disclosures must be reviewed against the website's deployed scripts, cookies, integrations, and third-party services before publication.

16. EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING PREFERENCES

MarketMutt may send communications necessary to operate user accounts, provide billing information, confirm subscription changes, address security issues, or communicate important service updates. These operational communications may be sent independently of optional marketing preferences where legally permitted. If MarketMutt offers promotional emails, newsletters, or marketing communications, users will be provided with appropriate consent or opt-out options as required by applicable law. Marketing messages will include an available method to unsubscribe where required. Opting out of promotional messages will not necessarily prevent delivery of important transactional or security communications.

17. TEXT MESSAGES AND MOBILE ALERTS

MarketMutt may introduce optional text-message notifications concerning stock movements, market developments, account information, or other selected events. Optional promotional or market-alert messages will be subject to appropriate enrollment and consent requirements. If SMS services are implemented, information collected may include mobile phone numbers, consent records, messaging preferences, delivery records, and opt-out requests. Phone numbers and messaging information may be shared with an authorized messaging provider to deliver requested communications. MarketMutt will not treat submission of a telephone number for unrelated purposes as automatic consent to optional marketing text messages. Further details will be provided through the SMS Text Message Consent & Alerts Policy when applicable.

18. DATA SECURITY

MarketMutt seeks to maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information it processes. Such safeguards may include authentication controls, restricted access, secure communications, monitoring, and other protective measures implemented by MarketMutt or its service providers. Security practices may change as technology and business operations evolve. Despite reasonable precautions, no website, database, transmission method, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting their own credentials and devices. If users believe their accounts or information have been compromised, they should contact MarketMutt promptly.

19. DATA RETENTION

MarketMutt retains personal information for periods reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by applicable law. Retention may depend on the category of information and the reason it was collected. For example: • Account information may be retained while an account remains active. • Subscription and transaction records may be retained to satisfy accounting, tax, payment, or dispute-resolution obligations. • Security and diagnostic records may be retained for operational and fraud-prevention purposes. • Support communications may be retained to address inquiries and maintain service records. • AI-related records may be subject to MarketMutt's retention practices and those of authorized AI providers. Information may be deleted, anonymized, or otherwise handled when no longer reasonably necessary. Specific retention periods, where required by law, must be established after reviewing actual database practices, backup policies, and provider agreements.

20. ACCOUNT CLOSURE AND DELETION REQUESTS

Users may request account closure or deletion of eligible personal information by contacting MarketMutt. Where available, account settings may provide additional methods for managing or deleting information. Account closure and subscription cancellation are separate actions. Canceling a subscription does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of the account or associated records. Certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, accounting, fraud prevention, security, or dispute resolution. MarketMutt will evaluate deletion requests in accordance with applicable law and will explain material limitations where required. Information maintained by independent third-party providers may be subject to separate retention obligations or deletion procedures.

21. PRIVACY RIGHTS AND USER CHOICES

Depending on a user's location and applicable law, individuals may have rights concerning their personal information. These may include rights to: • Request access to personal information. • Request correction of inaccurate information. • Request deletion of eligible information. • Obtain copies of certain information in a portable format. • Object to or restrict certain processing. • Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. • Opt out of qualifying personal information sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. • Appeal certain privacy-rights decisions where required. • Exercise applicable privacy rights without unlawful discrimination. Not every right applies in every jurisdiction or to every processing activity. MarketMutt may request information reasonably necessary to verify a requester's identity before disclosing or modifying personal information. Requests may be submitted to support@marketmutt.com. MarketMutt will respond within the periods required by applicable law.

22. CALIFORNIA AND OTHER UNITED STATES STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under applicable state laws. These rights may concern access, correction, deletion, portability, and the use or disclosure of personal information. Some laws also provide rights concerning targeted advertising, certain profiling activities, or the sale or sharing of personal information. Where such laws apply to MarketMutt, we will provide the required disclosures and procedures for exercising those rights. Additional notices may be necessary concerning: • Categories of personal information collected. • Sources of that information. • Purposes for collection and processing. • Categories of third-party recipients. • Applicable retention periods. • Whether information is sold or shared as defined by law. • Consumer request and appeal procedures. • Authorized agents and recognized opt-out preference signals. MarketMutt will not claim compliance with a particular state privacy statute without confirming that the statute applies and that the required operational procedures are in place.

23. INTERNATIONAL USERS AND CROSS-BORDER DATA TRANSFERS

MarketMutt operates primarily from the United States and provides information concerning U.S. financial markets. Users accessing the Service from other countries should understand that information may be processed or stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where authorized service providers operate. Privacy laws and legal protections may differ between countries. Where applicable law requires specific safeguards for international transfers, MarketMutt will implement the necessary arrangements before undertaking the relevant processing. International users may have additional rights concerning personal information, including rights established by applicable data protection legislation. The availability of particular services and privacy procedures may vary by jurisdiction.

24. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

MarketMutt is a general-audience financial information service and is not directed to children under the age of 13. MarketMutt does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13. If MarketMutt learns that it has collected personal information from a child under 13 in circumstances requiring parental consent or another legal basis that has not been obtained, it will take appropriate action under applicable law. Individuals purchasing paid subscriptions must have the legal capacity to enter into the applicable agreement or obtain appropriate authorization. Parents or guardians with concerns about information submitted by a child may contact support@marketmutt.com.

25. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND EXTERNAL LINKS

MarketMutt may link to external websites, financial news publishers, company filings, brokerage services, educational resources, and other independent platforms. These websites may collect information according to their own privacy policies and practices. MarketMutt does not control the information practices of independent third-party websites. Users are encouraged to review the privacy notices of external services before providing personal information. This Policy does not govern information independently collected by third parties after a user leaves MarketMutt.

26. BUSINESS TRANSFERS AND CORPORATE TRANSACTIONS

Personal information may be disclosed or transferred as part of a lawful merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing transaction, or sale of business assets. Any such transfer will be subject to applicable legal requirements and appropriate confidentiality, security, and privacy obligations. Where required, MarketMutt will provide notice concerning material changes in the handling of personal information. A business transfer does not automatically eliminate privacy rights or other protections established by applicable law.

27. DATA INCIDENTS AND BREACH NOTIFICATIONS

MarketMutt may investigate suspected unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, or misuse of personal information. If a security incident occurs, MarketMutt will assess the circumstances and take appropriate measures to contain and address the incident. Where applicable law requires notification to affected individuals, regulators, or other authorities, MarketMutt will provide notifications in accordance with the relevant legal requirements. The timing, content, and method of notification will depend on applicable law and the nature of the incident.

28. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

MarketMutt may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in technology, service functionality, business operations, information practices, or applicable legal requirements. The most current version will be made available through the Service. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law. Where a new use of personal information requires additional consent, MarketMutt will obtain that consent before proceeding. The date displayed at the beginning of this Policy will identify the latest published revision.
