Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last Updated: October 13, 2026

1. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE

This Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy governs paid subscriptions, billing, renewals, cancellations, plan changes, refunds, and related payment matters involving MarketMutt (“MarketMutt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to users who purchase or manage a paid MarketMutt subscription. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the applicable pricing, billing terms, and conditions disclosed during checkout, subject to applicable law.

2. AVAILABLE SUBSCRIPTION PLANS

MarketMutt offers a Free plan and paid subscription options. Each plan provides access to specified features, research tools, and usage allowances. Plan benefits, pricing, and limitations are described on our Pricing page and during checkout. MarketMutt may introduce, modify, or discontinue subscription plans in accordance with applicable law and existing subscriber commitments.

3. FREE ACCOUNTS

Users may access certain MarketMutt features without purchasing a paid subscription. Free accounts may include stock information, news, charts, research summaries, and other features designated as available without payment. Some advanced functionality, including Ask Roxie AI interactions and enhanced watchlist capabilities, may be restricted. MarketMutt may change free features, provided such changes comply with applicable legal requirements.

4. AUTOMATIC RENEWAL

Unless otherwise stated during checkout, paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each applicable billing period until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method at the applicable subscription rate, together with any disclosed taxes or additional charges. The subscription price, renewal frequency, and material billing conditions will be presented before purchase. Subscribers are responsible for canceling before the next renewal if they do not wish to continue.

5. PAYMENT PROCESSING

MarketMutt uses authorized third-party payment processors, including Stripe, to facilitate subscription transactions. Payment information is processed according to the payment provider's applicable terms and privacy practices. MarketMutt may receive payment status, transaction identifiers, customer references, billing dates, and other information necessary to administer subscriptions. We do not require users to provide complete payment-card information directly to MarketMutt's customer support representatives.

6. BILLING CYCLES AND PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Subscription charges are generally billed according to the applicable billing period, beginning on the date the paid subscription becomes effective. Renewal dates may be adjusted when a user changes plans or when payment processing requires an adjustment, subject to the terms presented during the transaction. Subscribers authorize MarketMutt's payment processor to charge their designated payment method for applicable recurring subscription fees until cancellation takes effect. Billing records and receipts may be made available through account management tools or payment confirmations.

7. SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION

Subscribers may cancel their paid subscriptions at any time using the cancellation functionality made available through MarketMutt or by contacting customer support where necessary. Cancellation ordinarily prevents further recurring subscription charges after the current paid billing period. Unless otherwise disclosed or required by law, paid access continues through the end of the period already purchased. Cancellation does not automatically delete the user's MarketMutt account or associated information. Subscribers should retain their cancellation confirmation for their records.

8. ACCOUNT ACCESS FOLLOWING CANCELLATION

When a paid subscription expires following cancellation, the account may revert to the Free plan. The user may retain access to features included in the Free plan while losing access to paid features, expanded Ask Roxie AI allowances, advanced watchlist organization, or other subscription benefits. Previously saved information may remain associated with the account, but its availability or editability may depend on the applicable plan. MarketMutt does not guarantee that every premium feature or configuration will remain available after expiration.

9. UPGRADING A SUBSCRIPTION

Subscribers may upgrade from their current subscription plan to another available plan offering additional features or benefits. Upgrades are generally intended to take effect immediately upon successful payment processing. Where applicable, the payment processor may credit unused time on the existing subscription and charge a prorated amount for the upgraded plan. The actual charge and effective date will be disclosed during the upgrade process. Upgrading may change the billing cycle or usage allowances depending on the applicable subscription terms.

10. DOWNGRADING A SUBSCRIPTION

Subscribers may downgrade from their current subscription plan to another available plan offering fewer features or benefits. Downgrades are generally intended to take effect at the next billing renewal, allowing subscribers to retain their existing benefits through the period already purchased. When the downgrade becomes effective, the account will receive the features and usage allowances associated with the newly selected plan. Downgrading does not ordinarily entitle subscribers to a refund for the current billing period unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed.

11. REFUNDS AND NONREFUNDABLE PAYMENTS

Subscription fees are generally nonrefundable once a billing period has begun. MarketMutt does not ordinarily provide partial refunds or credits for unused subscription time, unused Ask Roxie AI questions, or voluntary cancellation during a paid period. Exceptions may apply where required by law, where a billing error has occurred, or where MarketMutt expressly authorizes a refund. Nothing in this Policy limits refund or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Users who believe a charge was incorrect should contact customer support.

12. FAILED PAYMENTS AND PAST-DUE ACCOUNTS

If a recurring payment fails, the payment processor may attempt to collect the outstanding amount again according to its configured billing procedures. MarketMutt may notify the subscriber of the payment issue and provide an opportunity to update payment information. Paid features may be restricted, suspended, or discontinued if payment cannot be completed. Any grace period, retry schedule, or account status changes will depend on the billing configuration and applicable law. MarketMutt will not represent that a specific grace period is guaranteed unless expressly disclosed.

13. ASK ROXIE AI USAGE ALLOWANCES

Paid subscription plans may include a specified number of Ask Roxie AI questions or other usage allowances during each billing period. Allowances may vary by plan and are described on the Pricing page or within the Service. Unless expressly stated otherwise, unused allowances do not roll over into future billing periods and do not have cash value. MarketMutt may apply reasonable technical restrictions to prevent misuse, protect service reliability, and manage processing costs. Changes to material plan allowances will be handled in accordance with applicable subscription terms and consumer protection requirements.

14. ADDITIONAL QUESTION PURCHASES AND OPTIONAL FEATURES

MarketMutt may offer optional purchases of additional Ask Roxie AI questions, expanded research functionality, or other premium features. Such purchases will be subject to the price, quantity, expiration conditions, and other material terms disclosed before payment. Additional purchases will not automatically become recurring subscriptions unless clearly disclosed and authorized. Refund eligibility for optional purchases will be governed by the terms presented at purchase and applicable law. This section does not imply that additional question purchases are currently available.

15. FREE TRIALS AND PROMOTIONAL OFFERS

MarketMutt may occasionally provide promotional pricing, trial access, introductory offers, or complimentary feature allowances. The duration, eligibility, included benefits, applicable charges, and cancellation conditions will be disclosed when such an offer is made. If a trial automatically converts into a paid subscription, MarketMutt will disclose the conversion terms and obtain the authorization required by applicable law. Promotional offers may be limited to eligible users and may not be combined unless expressly permitted.

16. PRICE CHANGES AND PLAN MODIFICATIONS

MarketMutt may change subscription prices, plan features, usage allowances, or available subscription tiers. Changes affecting existing paid subscribers will be communicated in accordance with applicable law and the terms governing the subscription. Where required, advance notice, affirmative consent, or an opportunity to cancel will be provided before a material change takes effect. A new price will not be charged to an existing subscriber without satisfying applicable disclosure and authorization requirements.

17. TAXES AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Applicable sales, use, or other transaction taxes may be added to subscription purchases when required by law. Taxes, if applicable, will be identified during checkout or in billing records as required. MarketMutt does not impose undisclosed mandatory subscription fees. Charges from a user's bank, card issuer, currency conversion provider, or other independent financial institution are not controlled by MarketMutt.

18. BILLING ERRORS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES

Subscribers who believe they have been charged incorrectly, billed after a valid cancellation, or experienced another payment problem should contact MarketMutt promptly. We may request reasonable transaction details necessary to investigate the issue but will not ask users to provide passwords or complete payment-card numbers by email. MarketMutt will review reported billing errors and provide appropriate corrections or remedies when warranted. This Policy does not restrict legally protected rights to dispute unauthorized or incorrect charges with a payment provider.

19. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION

MarketMutt may suspend or terminate paid access in circumstances involving nonpayment, fraudulent transactions, account misuse, violations of the Terms of Service, security concerns, or other legitimate operational reasons. Any suspension or termination will be subject to applicable law and contractual obligations. Refund eligibility, if any, will depend on the circumstances and applicable consumer protections. Termination of paid access does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of account records.

20. SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS AND FEATURE AVAILABILITY

MarketMutt relies on third-party infrastructure, financial data providers, payment services, and artificial intelligence technologies. Temporary interruptions, maintenance, delayed market data, or unavailable features may occur. MarketMutt does not guarantee uninterrupted access to every subscription feature. If a material service interruption creates refund or other consumer rights under applicable law, those rights will be respected. Users should contact support if they experience a significant subscription-related service problem.

21. CONSUMER RIGHTS AND APPLICABLE LAW

This Policy is intended to operate consistently with applicable federal and state consumer protection laws, including requirements governing recurring subscriptions, automatic renewal disclosures, cancellation procedures, and payment authorization. Certain jurisdictions may provide additional rights concerning cancellation, refunds, renewal notices, or material subscription changes. Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude or limit rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

22. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

MarketMutt may update this Policy to reflect changes in subscription offerings, billing technology, payment processing, business practices, or legal requirements. The latest version will be available through the MarketMutt website. Material changes affecting existing subscribers will be communicated as required by applicable law. The date displayed at the beginning of this Policy identifies its most recent published revision.
